(PAC)
The Grauer PAC meets once a month. We alternate between morning 9:00 a.m. meetings and evening 6:30 p.m. meetings in order to accomodate as many parents as possible. We invite, and welcome all Grauer Parents to our meetings.

Fundraising
Hello everyone!
We wanted to take the time to introduce ourselves to those of you who don’t know us and to fill you in on
the work that has already been done this year and to give you a sneak peek into the future of fundraising
at RM Grauer.
We are:
• Mrs. Lee Donald-Jones, a full-time working mom to Keegan, now in Grade 5.
• Mrs. Kim Lee, a former Grauer student and full time working mom to Daniel in Grade 5.
“For the past year we have held the position of Fundraising Co-Chair on the Grauer PAC
and have found it to be an extremely rewarding challenge. Through fundraising we are
both meeting our goal of raising additional funds to support school and classroom
activities. We hope that you will continue to support our efforts!”
Did you know that every dollar raised through our fundraising goes directly back to the school? Last year
we funded numerous field trips, classroom supplies, funds for the quilting club and many other activities
that your children benefited from all thanks to your participation in the fundraising campaigns we offered.
Already this year we have had a QSP Magazine campaign and a Family Photo night and to date have
raised almost $1,000. Thanks to everyone who participated.

QSP Magazines Subscriptions
Our QSP Magazine Subscription fundraiser is now on and you can raise money for
the school. By ordering your new subscriptions or renewing your expiring
subscriptions through QSP, you can save a lot of money and you can raise money for our school anytime
of the year. Go to www.qsp.ca today and sign up to support our school. Our account number is 2759.
Our Goal!
So, why are we going to all the trouble to raise funds? And how much do we plan to raise?
Funds raised through the sale of magazines, Shop and Support and other ways & means projects go
directly to support your child’s education. By supplying classroom teachers with some of the tools they
need in the classroom, subsidize field trips and fund special projects, you directly participate in your
child’s education.
Our fundraising goal is a modest $5000 (approximately $20 per child) this year! We hope to meet and
exceed our goal through your active and eager participation. We’re almost 1/4 of the way there, thanks to
you!
Our Commitment – Your Commitment
Our Commitment – We promise to ensure the funds we raise are effectively used in an appropriate
manner. We will communicate on a regular basis and let you know if we are meeting our fundraising
goals, and let you know what the money is being used for, so you can see you are making a difference.
Your Commitment - Join us by supporting one or both of our new major initiatives and take part in some
of the other ways & means activities. Your participation ultimately benefits your child, by providing the
additional funds for school and classroom activities. Let’s make this year the best year yet, for our kids.

Got Ideas? Want to Volunteer? Know someone who can help our school? Then we need you!
If you’ve got great ideas, come join us at the monthly PAC meeting or give us a call, we can
be reached through the school office. If you have the time to volunteer for food days and
other activities, please contact our food day coordinator. It’s a great opportunity for you to
meet some of the other parents, get to know your child’s teacher or have a chat with the Principal!
We are also looking for contacts within our Grauer community who can help us with our fundraising goals.
If you know of someone who has connections within the community (business owners, large corporations
etc.) that could potentially make donations to the school, please put them in touch with us.
